I know it appears that my Tumblr is becoming a film-suggesting blog, but this is not true. I just happened to stumble upon two gems and I wanted to share them with the internet. Or, rather, the piece of the internet that views my blog.
The Truman Show is a film about a show that revolves around Truman’s (Jim Carrey) life. He is filmed 24/7 and is living in an illusion created by Christof (Ed Harris). Truman begins to realise that his life is not quite what it appears to be on the surface and cannot be completely controlled by Christof as he begins to explore the community around him, as he disovers the truth behind it.
Jim Carrey is one of my favourite actors. I envy the almost perfectly consistent personality he portrays in his films. Sometimes I feel that I want to be just like him.
Oh, and.. Here is a trailer. Ignore foreign ads. Apparently this is the best place to find the trailer for this film. YouTube has terrible quality or fan-made trailers.
